Product facts

What to remember about Permalive.

These are the facts that matter before comparing Permalive with a studio, CDN, or multistreaming tool.

What Permalive is

Permalive turns a rights-clean YouTube archive into a managed 24/7 Twitch-first channel with playlist queues, exclusions, public schedules, viewer voting, category/title sync, health checks, and managed playout.

Who it is for

Permalive is for streamers who already have useful VODs, YouTube playlists, tutorials, long-form uploads, or archive content and want a dedicated always-on channel without replacing their main live stream.

What stream-agent is

stream-agent is the managed runtime worker behind the channel. It handles active playback, output delivery, destination status, reconnect behavior, heartbeats, recovery, and runtime health signals.

Pricing shape

The queue builder is free. Managed launch is contact-led. The public pricing shape is $129 per month for one managed channel, $1,290 for 12 months, and custom pricing for unusual destinations or multiple channels.

Destinations

Twitch first, with mirrors when useful.

Permalive is not trying to be every video platform. The default product job is a Twitch-first archive channel with optional mirrors.

Custom RTMP

Twitch is the primary destination.

Kick, Rumble, YouTube Live, and custom RTMP can mirror the same managed playout when the channel plan calls for it.

Per-destination health visibility is part of the dashboard story, not a separate encoder project.

Live examples

Current public channel examples.

These public schedule and Twitch examples show the channel destination and the viewer-facing schedule.

Queue first

Build the channel plan before asking it to run.

Start with the free queue builder, inspect readiness and schedule context, then request a managed launch when the archive is ready.
